A Whole New World (Day 1)

Our long awaited trip to Disney World has come and gone and we had an amazing time! Not only did it not disappoint, but it exceeded expectations. If we are so blessed, we would love to go back! There are many pictures and videos, so this will have to be split into a few posts. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and come Sunday morning we started bright and early with a few rides before the lines became unbearable.

First up, Dumbo! I guess we started off right, because this ended up being Jonah's favorite ride of the trip. He was a little afraid to get on it at first and I had to coax him and say that I wanted to ride and wanted him to come with me. Once I asked him what color Dumbo he wanted, he was extremely excited. Go figure. He loved it!
Grandma and Abby watching from the sidelines. A better picture and Abby's turn to ride too will come in a later post...
Aunt Christy and Lexi taking a spin. The kids riding Peter Pan. Keep in mind it's pitch black before a flash shines on their face. I think Jonah's look is hilarious. Taking it all in. :)
Greg, Christy, Lexi, and Reese riding behind us.
Next up, It's a Small World.
Then Winnie the Pooh.

And then it was time for breakfast with the princesses in the castle. Jonah was SO excited to eat in the castle and it was a very fun experience. Here he is with Ryan, Kaitlyn, and Sleeping Beauty trying not to act too excited.
Abby was very into Jasmine's shiny jewelry and had to get in on this picture. We met a few more princess (Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle), but no pictures uploaded right now. We do have the autographs though, so don't you worry. We have proof.
After breakfast, we went on a few more rides, including teacups. Daddy decided he wanted to keep breakfast in his tummy and sat this one out. This was probably Jonah's second favorite ride. Abby loved it too.
After going on a few more rides, including Jonah's first roller coaster, we headed back for naps and swimming. That night we ate dinner at EPCOT and were able to ride on the Nemo ride and watch Turtle Talk with Crush. Jonah loved Nemo so much we ended up riding it twice. Here the kids are outside of Crush's watching the sting rays play.

And after this... we crashed! This ends day 1... more to come tomorrow.
