Church Music at it's Finest

Brian and I were trying to decide who we thought came up with the idea to do this whole little performance and we're betting it was the guy in the middle. Your thoughts?

i saw this video yesterday in response to the "Jesus is my friend" video that i posted on facebook. Seeing this video makes me understand why some people might be afraid of church. I think i threw up a little bit in my mouth.

So many things to say...

1. It was absolutely the guy in the middle who planned the whole gig...his "moonwalk" and "breakdancing moves" were the moves he practiced alone in his bedroom. Until he got to show them off at a church service.

2. The set. C'mon!

3. The echo was classic. "Christ in me! Christ in me!" Nice use of the echo.

4. I imagined the rehearsals were a beating. "No, Linda. Not FUNKY enough! Pretend like you've seen a black person before. They don't move like that! Funkier!"

5. The synth was pretty awesome. I like the guys at the random synth stations. Genius, actually.

6. This will become a family act so my kids can perform this in the talent show. Maybe it could become the new Cha-Cha slide?

My favorite part is that the copyright at the end says 2007. So, they could come to a church near you at any moment. The video that Traci references is just as good. You should check it out.

and to think I almost turned it off after a minute... I would have totally missed the solo dance. Girls- I think we should claim this one as the "I want it that way" replacement...

That is a bummer. It says the video is no longer available. After all the comments, I'm dying to see it!
